Hi! I also have 2 featherwights and finally named them. One is a 221 and her name is Edna after my grandmother that taught me to sew. The other is the 222k (free arm) I named him Harry after my grandfather....they were always such a fabulous couple (my grandparents) so I think it's very fitting. They say you should name them after a loved one or a silly name to make you smile when you think of sewing with her. Good luck!

Go to the top and enter Featherweight in the search engine. You will get many, many explanations on what a Featherweight is!

No feather weight, but have named my long arm. "Bella" which I believe is lovely in Italian. I'm the only girl with four brothers. Then we had two sons too! I was going to get my girl one way or another. Happy New Year everyone!

Thank goodness there's another with a male name. I just looked at my FW and it screamed Hector to me, don't know why.

Thanks... took a quick look while at work!! Why is it that every one wants one. They look like the machines I used to use when I was forced to do Home Economics at school, and that was a lot of years ago now.
