The same thing happened to my husband three years ago. He got up Sunday morning and his left hand was feeling prickly. He went to the hospital and they diagnosed a TIA also. Our 50th anniversary was that Friday and the girls had planned a special weekend for us as a family. The doctor kept him for 24 hours and he came home, went on our trip, had a good time and three days later had his carotid artery surgery. He has been fine since then. Hope your husband does as well. God bless you.

I am glad he was not a tipical man and ignored the symptoms. Praying for a speedy recovery for him.
