When printing from my Mac I noted the 1" test block was off. Somehow I discovered an automatic resize as a option under 'edit' & voila it worked!
Thinking there must be some angels in my unbuilt Church at work already!

The one inch test block gives a block that is 10'' finished, if you want a larger block, you surely can increase the size like you did. Increasing the the size 120% will give you a 12'' block, and if that works for you, go ahead and do it. The only thing to watch is that all three templates show a test square of 1.5 inches so that the church pieces match, as long as your test squares on the different templates are the same size, you should get a consistent block that is enlarged or reduced by the scale you chose.

Here is a table that shows how to enlarge and reduce blocks to different sizes, works great for PP as long as all your templates are enlarged or reduced by the same percentage..I sound like a broken record,

Thanks! I totally bookmarked that site!

Thanks, Most of the BOM that I have done prior were 12"
so that works for me.

Thanks for the chart.

Question about PP,
do you tie a knot at the begining and at the end of each seam?

I finally got page one to print! I had to go to "print preview" to make it work. Now I can go home and finish the block.

If I didn't or couldn't stitch into a seam allowance, then I would secure with a knot.

My first BOM and paper piecing! I really don't need another project, but this is so beautiful I'm going to find the time. Thank you for the inspiration and for sharing.

Carol Doak suggests you don't knot your thread. Start just before the line, and use very short stitches...this not only helps prevent the threads from coming out at the ends, but also helps in tearing off the paper.
Another hint: Don't tear off the paper until your block is in the quilt. That way it won't stretch, and should still be perfect!
