jamh with 2010 flying past so quickly (seems to me like it was only New Year 2009 yesterday) :D and here we are at the end of 2010 already. What happened?

Speaking of which, I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year for 2011.

Happy New Year to the First Rounders! It is now less than two weeks to mailing- I need to get busy here! I have a small start but have a long way to go. Hope everyone is working on their round. Now that the holidays are over, we can get back to RR projects. The hard part will be finding our thread with so many new, active groups.

Thank You Vicki,
I have made a start (at last) on the next round. Took me some time to decide on fabric and what I would actually do.

Although I have started I am still not sure what to end with? What I am doing is quite fiddly so I only managed 3 blocks yesterday. I need to make 10 pairs per side of the blocks and really should try and do at least 1 side per day so that by the end of the week I have finished as I really do not want to be sending it out right on the due date from way over here.

It will be lovely to hear from the rest of the group as to what every one is up to?

Kathleen

Hi, Just got back for my sons wedding, Had to leave my Husband in the care of my daughter so I could attend the wedding. I think my center has made problems for everyone. I hope not to much? What ever you do is ok with me. Hope everyone is having a good beginning of the New Year. Will be off for a couple days taking my Husband for his second round of cemo. will be back on Sat and will finish the center I'm working on now.
Margaret

Okay I have been working on the centre some more today. Has been so hot here that as fast as I wiped my face I glistened all over again so in the end came inside for some cool time. Was getting frustrated as it was because my maths has proven to be a stumbling block again. I have done one side but when I pinned it up I was an inch too long, the design I have chosen to do will not allow me to cut it down so I may have to redo the whole lot if I can't come up with a compromise which looks OK. Will think about it tonight as how it is at the moment with what I have worked out I will have enough material but if I change it then I shall have to buy more material as there wont be enough here to change everything. Oh dear, decisions decisions!
