Letters mean nothing to these people. It is all about the all mighty dollar.

Youo can always call 1-800-WALMART and let them know what you think. We did that a few years back and it helped. Now they told us - early last fall - that when your store was up for remodel, the fabric is going. So with this new bit of news, maybe all those phone calls have worked again. In our town we have a Joann's, Hobby Lobby and two high end quilt shops. So most of us shop WalMart!

Our local Walmart still has the fabric department and they still get new shipments all the time. I am so grateful to have them because I just can't afford the higher priced fabrics . I know most of their fabric is poly-cotton, but that's ok with me, I only quilt for family and they don't care what the quilts are made of.

Wow! I feel so blessed that we still have our sewing department here.

Down here in the RGV there are several stores that have fabric on the bolt and it has been very nice material.

We can only hope someone got the message. Having shopped in Walmart fabrics and having to wait in line to get it cut makes me wonder how they justified taking it out. Perhaps we need to keep letting them know how we feel.

Our fabric department is now one isle with some odds and ends prepacked on the wall. I think it is supposed to shrink even further.
