mine has an old 1929 model A (in dire need of rebuilding), Tools galore, loads and loads of exercise equipment (he's a lifelong gym-bum), all sorts of golfing toys (plays 3x's a week in good weather), and a pontoon boat (we live on a lake). His hobbies make me happy, because my hobby makes me happy. :-)

My DH is in many ways a renaissance man who writes (has 2 books almost finished), paints, does architectural type photography (created and published 3 calendars for 5 years), restoring his 1967 210 Volvo Duett named Victor (who is about to join us up north). Vics been waiting in a friends barn while DH restored our back shed/barn for Vics arrival. DH also loves to cook, do carpentry and antique restoration work. He currently creates wonderful folk art sculptures out of old found materials. And of course, he reads, and absolutely loves teaching/ encouraging young children in their creativity.

It can be alot of fun, working with "man tools". I have many of my own tools, a router, drill....My own stand up tool box with my own tools. I've made simple wood projects like towel racks for bathroom, storage box, birdhouses. I even work on my own truck. Change the oil, simple maintenance. Changed the starter once. His buddies use to think he was lying when he said he'd found a gal that took care of herself, after they met me they said I would be the perfect woman if I knew how to clean fish. Been trying to learn that, but yuk!

My Husband has a HO model train layout of the 1890 logging era modeled after his grandparents home town in Michigan. He has way more spent than I. Thats alot if you add in my Bernina QE440. We travel to train stores to find stuff which is good because there are way more quilt stores than train stores. LOL

My DH has two Harleys and collects music memorabilia, such as autographed guitars played by 80's rock icons, it's more expensive than my hobby : )
