omg... this is showStopper blueRibbon worthy. In frank honesty, my eye is not attracted to civil war fabric; but I will be rethinking that from now on... this quilt is beyond beautiful. The piecing, the layout, the colors,,, the Quilting! (holy smoke, the Quilting!!) It's enormous (Bigger than your Couch!!!). This is truly a work of love. congratulations.

The quilting took hours and hours, but I didn't want to do an over-all design so each block is individually quilted with SID and echo (shadow?) quilting. Afraid I can't help you much with t-shirt quilt as I have never done one but I can assure you if I do one it will be spray basted. Once basted I would start quilting in the center and work my way to the edges.
WOW!!!!! You sure have given me the "bug" to try the spray basting. I use my home machine to "quilt" all my quilts also but have never tried the spray basting. And it surprises me that you didn't even put pins in also.
GREAT JOB. I will have to show you mine, "when" I try the spray basting.
What kind of spray did you use again?
It's all new to me.......haha
Thanxs for the tip.

Does the spray wash out of the sheet after the quilt is basted? I have a king bed, and Tailor spray, which I like. Would like to try your method
