I am waiting for my Connecting Threads order to arrive! This is my Christmas present to myself and money my dear MIL sent to me. It is hard waiting!

I put my Connecting Threads catalog right in the recycling bin and it's buried! Now you guys are tempting me to look online and check things out. And I was doing so well!

I like that line as well, but I didn't give in. I tossed the catalog so I wouldn't be tempted- (of course I do have their web site on my "direct dial" list..) Let us know how you like it when it comes!!

Yep I made the same resolution but I did only buy what I needed to for finishing my UFOs. Gosh it was soooooooo tempting.

Read on a church sign: Hope your troubles last as long as your New Years resolutions. Thought that it was cute and seems to fit most of us.

So far I have been good. The Connecting Threads catalog is calling me every hour on the hour! LOL. However, so far all I have ordered is a King size batting which I need for a quilt top I have already finished.

I doubt it will be very long before I get into some of those delicious fabrics, charm squares and kits.

"My name is Joanne, and I haven't purchased fabric in seven days". Whew! Now I know how alcoholics feel! (Just kidding - not meant to offend or make light of more serious problems)

My resolution was to buy only fabric that was needed to round out a new quilt mostly made from my stash Diane C.
