I am certainly happy this thread got some recent activity because I missed it first time around. Your quilting for this piece is fantastic. I love what you did in the blank patches. Looks like you tried your hand at some McTavishing as well. Great job on this!

Thanks so much, to everyone for all the nice comments. I just emailed my customer and told her how many view and comments her quilt had received.

Regarding the McTavishing, Karen McTavish has become a good friend to me ever since I hosted her for classes last March. I am looking forward to having her here the last week in January to teach classes at Material Girl Fabrics in Grand Island Nebraska. She is truely a remarkable quilter, teacher, and author. A very gifted and unique person!

If you are in the area or know of anyone who is and would be interested you can find more information at www.sewfari.com. I am so looking forward to learning new skills.

And a request . . . please pray for good weather and road conditions!! We're having a really mild winter in central Nebraska, compared to last year - WOW!

Again, I am so overwhelmed with the responses I've received to this post! Thank-you all!

Count me in on the "beautiful" bandwagon!
Between your customer's quilting & redwork and the astounding job you did quilting, this is truly a work of art!
