Welcome from on the road, currently in Houston, Tx. Been here 2 weeks after spending 7+ months in Redford (west side of Detroit near Westland). From looking at your quilt, you seem to find your own inspiration. (I am assuming you designed it.) It has it's own unique "feel", which makes it a great quilt in my book.

Hope you enjoy the board and get whatever "inspiration" you need. I know I sure get a lot, and spend at least 5 days a week on here, even if for just 10 minutes . . .

Welcome I'm a new user also and live near the bottom of the Mitt....but work in Lansing. Try Country Stiches on Lansing road they might know of smaller groups, but also the Lansing area has a quilt guild and that's a great way to find smaller groups.
PS love your quilt!
