I maybe crazy, but are they both the same? Row 1 in #1 is Row 2 in #2; Row 2 in #1 is Row 1 in Row 1. If you add more rows, I think they will be the same.

But maybe I'm cross-eyed this morning! lol

Very good observance!! You are right. But I was thinking about adding a solid color triangle or 1 of the fabric's used to the rows because the more I look at #1 I really don't like how the colors don't flow together and I want it to flow thru out the quilt. I will have to play around with it some more.

Yes I instantly went to #2 also.
I think I agree, it must be the darker colours together.
Very pretty fabric no matter which you choose.
