Two questions. How many people quilt there own quilts and what do you quilt them on? The designs I see are so pretty. Does anyone quilt them free motion on their regular machine? Also, what is an avatar quilt? I keep seeing that word. Its very pretty
and so is the baby. Lucky you!

Avatar picture is the picture by my name. So far I try to stitch in the ditch if possible to stabalize my piece or I tie. I have stippled a few table toppers but so far not a large quilt. Stippling is fun on small things but I don't know if I could do a large piece. Some people do.

Love this pattern and the colors. I am really not interested in doing applique, but then I see a quilt like this and I think, well, maybe one day!!

The pattern is "Oopsie Daisy" by Darlene Zimmerman. I backed the quilt with "Minkie" fabric to make it cuddely and soft.

Thanks so much for posting your beautiful quilt. I have this pattern (shown in 30's fabric) and had forgotten about it. I love your updated version.
