    Several things to try come to my mind. Hydrogen peroxide, white strips for teeth, and baking soda.

    I believe that years ago I heard of buttons being "dye-able" so why not try it on a few? What do you have to lose and maybe you will have some of a pretty color.

    okie dokie...i love pastels. I'll let my grandbaby use some of them in her artwork. She has creative/quilters blood from both sides of the family is already a whiz at matching fabrics and she's just knee high! :D

    To colour the buttons if they are not to old a friend placed they in water with food dye or food colouring and put them in the microwave for a minute or two, you could try one to start off. this worked for her.
