Very pretty. If you sew your blocks together without sashing you will get a secondary design, where four blocks come together. Beautiful Work. Thanks for sharing!!

I am also making a purple quilt. I think yours is beautifully balanced. You have done a wonderful job of that. I hope mine is as balanced as yours. It is for my friend Sue and she wants some olive green added as well. I have not even found a pattern I want to do yet. Your block is lovely. Can't wait to see it completed.

Looks great, the block and colors. It's a nice soft shade of purple, so No, not to much.

Would you mind sharing the name of the pattern? In February I plan to start a quilt for my grandaughter using various pinwheels. This would be perfect since I plan on using 12 inch squares. Thank you.
