They give excellent directions. Very clear and precise. I'm just a slow learner, I think!

I'm so sick of this thing I don't even want to quilt it. I have no idea how to even begin quilting it. I already have a redwork quilt on the frame for hand quilting. I'm not sure I'm at all up to doing hand or machine quilting on this thing. I guess it'll have to go back into storage for another 5 years! Ha!
I know what you mean about taking so long. My Avatar quilt for my mum took 3 years as I needed to put it away each year for a few months to recover from all the needle turn applique that was involved in the 17 blocks. just put it aside until you finish the redwork and then you will be ready to finish it--I promise once it is done you will be glad of it.

This is just a beautiful example of applique' work. I should be so lucky to even want to begin such a beautiful project.
I am stumbling around with little projects.

What a blessing and inspiration you and your quilt are to others.
What a God given talent of applique' that God has given to you.
He will also give you the desire to want to finish the project. Work willingly with your hands as working unto the Lord.
Have a blessed day..thanks for sharing your work. Did I mention how absolutely beautiful it is?

I have to agree with all the others here. It looks just great & so bright & cheery, just like you! You'll get it finished one of these days when you run out of projects. :-)
