Cut thread and do the same 1/4 seam below the line, again pivoting at the bottom center and continuing up to the corner. Cut on the center pencil line, then cut between the two lines you have just sewn. You will end up with 4 squares. I hope this helps, if it doesn't I would be glad to post some pictures for you. Finally finished my star blocks. Yesterday I made my first one and followed the directions for completing the triangles (yellow and brown), then I thought of pp the block (red) and figured out the hard way not to pp the whole thing. This morning I finished the red star block and pp just the triangles on the green star. I can't wait until next month... I'm doing both BOM. :D
