It wasn't hard. It could be tedious at times -- you have to be precise with your seams, and be especially organized w/ your strips once you cut them. A design wall and a box of straight pins were very useful tools. All in all, it was a lot easier than I had feared...made me feel a little silly for being afraid of this pattern for so long. I may make another smaller, simpler one like this before I attempt anything more intricate.
