    i use to when i first started.. i don't anymore.. i just use a heavier pellon fusilbe.. i like it better personally. i will save the quilting for the quilts. lol

    i have made over 40 of these bags.. and i have 3 left in stock and trying to make more to add to my etsy store.. i just can't sneak my own versions in. lol

    the tweed is just heavier upholstery material. this is the second and third one i have made from this fabric..

    Where did you get the pattern. I have three granddaughters, one daughter and one DIL plus three sisters and one SIL. What a great bag for gifts.
