My easiest pork loin recipe is to put a container of sauerkraut into the crockpot, add 2 tablespoons Gravy Master, mix together. Place the pork on top of the mixture and cook on low for 8 hours. My sister doesn't like sauerkraut, but will eat it by the bowl made this way :)

peel and cut up fresh sweet potatoes (enough to cover bottom of crockpot) top with 1/2 cup apricot or peach preserves. Lay pork loin on top and cover with another 1/2 cup preserves. Cook on low approx 8 hours. Very good.

Pork Loin with Raisin Sauce

1(5#) boneless Pork Loin
5 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
2 Tablespoon vegetable oil

Raisin Sauce

Cut slits in pork loin; push garlic slices into each slit. Rub pork loin evenly with salt & pepper. Brown on all sides in hot oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place in a large roasting pan.

Bake at 325° for 1 hour & 45 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted in the thickest portion registers 155°. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Slice and serve with Raisin Sauce.

Raisin Sauce
½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
¼ cup water
½ cup golden raisins
2 Tablespoons vinegar
1 Tablespoon butter
¾ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon ground mace
½ cup jellied cranberry sauce

Stir together all ingredients in a small sauce pan; heat over low heat stirring until cranberry sauce melts.
Serve warm.

This has replaced the traditional turkey in our home on Thanksgiving. AWESOME FLAVOR!!!!!!

I buy the whole loins and cut up into chops as well. They are great! I leave one end to use as a roast. I salt and pepper and sear the meat in a skillet. Then I quarter potatoes into the bottom of my crockpot, dump in a bag of baby carrots and top with sliced onion. (I sometimes add garlic as well.) Salt and pepper the veggies then put the roast on top. Add water up to the bottom of the roast and cook all day on low (or on high for 4 hours). It is wonderful to come home to a complete meal ready to eat and it smells and tastes delicious.

This sounds so good. I also buy the whole loin.Someone said to wrap potatoes in foil, then put meat on top.Might try that too. DH is not a fan of potatoes cooked in slow cooker.Last Fall I made apple sauce in my SC.Cut apples in half & cut out any bad spots. No water needed. Cook on low till soft, put thru strainer & return to SC.Add small amt of sugar, cinnamon & several apples peeled & large dice. Cook on low till diced apples are done but not mushy.

Just cooked one last night. I have found McCormick's GrillMates Montreal steak seasoning a perfect choice for all kinds of meats and cooking methods. I just coated the meat with a little EVOO in bottom of casserole, sprinkled all sides fairly heavily with the McCormicks. put a lid on it and baked it on 350 for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Actually reduced the heat to 325 at about the 1 hour point.

Cook on low...up to 8 hours. Pull apart and add your choice of BBQ sauce... mix good....serve on buns.

The carbonated drink makes it really tender...NOT sure why or how....very simple to make and really good.
The carbonated drinks contain acids which break down the meat. In my Science classes we saw how they dissolved tooth enamal, metals, rocks, etc. Same things they do to your stomach!
