Ditto. And I can add that I can be walking through a shopping centre and follow someone who is wearing a skirt just perfect for cutting up. Sometimes wonder if I should carry a pair of scissors in my bag just in case :)

Your idea of the perfect vacation is a quilt retreat.

I have thought of some more.

When flying to Minneapolis to visit your daughter you look outside the plane and the land below looks like a patchwork quilt.

Instead of counting sheep you design quilts to fall asleep. I do this a lot.

you can relate to each and every one of these posts, nodding positively, and murmuring, "yup, that one works," or "yup, I do that."

You might be a quilter . . .

. . . when your 4yo son sees fun fabric at the LQS and announces that he's asking Santa to bring it for Christmas . . . "I'm putting it on my list!"

My sister was in the local hospital for the last two weeks. I, working thru the week would stay with her at night on Friday and Saturday. Now walking down the hall to get ice,etc there is a potential LARGE quilt square in the middle of the hallway. Now I would have taken a picture of it but batteries dead in camera.
