Packers or Steelers
#83
I am just posting to remind you that there are people in the world who wouldn't know the difference between a Packer and a Steeler if they walked up in their uniform and introduced themselves by name.
Even for sports I do know about, I think it is important to remember that it is all just a game, despite the inflated, even obscene, wealth of some professional sportspeople, and the general hoopla that surrounds a lot of sport these days.
I cringe when people say "We played well" after watching a game on TV. In fact you did not play well- you sat and ate popcorn and held the remote- if you want to be proud- be proud of your own achievements, not someone else's.
And, needless to say, no offence to anyone's deep emotional attachment to any team- it is of course nice to have someone to cheer on and make you feel good, but I am just throwing this into the mix.

Packers. Plus I think no matter what team is involved, these days everyone needs to cheer about something, and if for awhile it is for a football game, so be it. The feel good you get from cheering for a team, is good for you, plus it takes your mind off everyday problems.
So, go Pack go!

Go Steelers and here's the crazy reasoning. I am a Pats fan, since they were the Boston Patriots a million years ago....so, I was beside myself when the Jets won. As much as I love the Pats, that's how much I detest the Jets. The Steelers beat the Jets, so I have to thank them by cheering for them on Super Bowl Sunday. Does that make sense to anyone but me???
