I absolutely LOVE the quilt you have displayed here. Will you share the pattern for it?

If I clean as I go and put things away as I use them then the clutter doesn't acumulate.
After finishing each project I clean/oil my machine and vacuum
the carpets. I fill out information in my journal. If its a charity quilt and I have quilted it I take a picture for my journal.
If I will be taking it to my longarm quilter I wili hang the quilt/backing up in the closet.
So when I start a new quilt my sewing room is clean
and I'm ready to sew.
You are me, in my mind! LOL Reality is a different subject.

Your DH sounds like mine. He says he just wants me to be happy.
As long as my DH keeps buying wood working tools, he won't say anything about my toys.

My sewing room needs a good cleaning. I have already come across stuff I won't use. Sometimes I just wonder, what was I thinking.
I know the yarn will go for sure.

Love the quilt. I made this out of scraps. Some are about 40 years old. My mom made my little sister dresses out of them & she is 50 this year.

Same here, I cannot stand a room in disarray, sometimes it means no quilting gets done till the room get clean even in the middle of a project. At least I get some thinking and planning doen while I am doing it, and nearly always find something that had gone missing.lol :-D

I never never saw our Walmart put Fabric on sale. They don't have the dept. anymore but when they did, no sales. You are lucky

I got the whole garage ready for a garage sale a few years ago. i had all these table in there and it took a long time cleaning things from the house and shed and boxes. it was nice weather and then when I was all ready with the boxes made for advertiseing, it turned bad weather and started to rain and snow. So for the next few weeks I shopped at my own sale and kept bringing things back in the house. Crazy!!!! There is not much shopping in this small town so I shopped at my own garage sale. Please don't tell anybody.

We bought a new house a few months ago and I am still trying to get organized. We have a trip planned for Pheonix in May and the saving has already begun ... my Lady for clothing and mine for the fabric shops. Luckily - she likes to help me and is an enabler in the fabric store. What a gal !!!
