Clean up your sewing room.
#81
I share my sewing room with my 4 cats and I put everything away at the end of the day. I don't want hair on my stuff. I use 10yds or so of fabric, then go buy 30 or more yards. I'm sure I have a bad sickness, oldest DD does too.

I, too, have been trying to clean up my sewing room.. actually I have a sewing basement.. and it was in a heck of a mess.. I have spent the last number of years being the caregiver to my sweet MIL.. She passed away and now I am trying to make room to bring her large stash and sewing things to my house.. oh my.. Between the mess my stuff had gotten into and the mess of cleaning out her house, has made this a major undertaking. I am hoping to get it done by late spring!! Wish I knew just what I was doing!

I am one of those, likke many here, who needs a clean area in which to work. I can't start a project unless everything is put away and the room is clean, at least for the most part. I don't mean white-glove clean, though:D
When I'm working on a project, I usually just straighten everything up - stack rulers, put cutters and scissors away, tidy up fabric, etc. I usually work on only one project at a time, too. That makes it easier to keep track of it all.

The story sounds like me.DH don't care. Just says-you could open a fabric store. I'm also in the process of getting things sorted and cleaned up. Long ago bought 3 same patterns for the same dress. This is when I worked. So cleaning up is a necessity.
