I have 9 machines and one of them is a brother, haven't named any of them. I guess now is the time to start ! My brother machine is now named Bubba. I guess the rest will be able to have girly names. Thanks for the laugh but you are right I don't think I would like having a brother named Sue. Ha ha

I only have one named machine...my 50's Pinnock is called Jasper...Jasper has a very hot and tired motor so he is going into retirement today 'til I think of what to do with him. Need to get on and restore the treadle I bought last year....no name, but maybe I'll give it one when I'm finished.

:D I've decided to name my machine "Lucky", because it is a Bernina 1090 in fantastic condition that I found on Craigs list for $400. It wasn't even in my home town. I found it on the Craigs List in my sister's town far away in another state. I was just browsing the ads for her area while I was waiting for some laundry to finish drying.
The seller took it to my sister's home, and my other sister brought it home after she visited. So, there was no shipping to worry about. It is a wonderful machine and I feel so lucky to have found her!
