Amen. I bribe myself.....change loads of laundry and you can quilt for an hour, vacuum and you can cut the pieces for the next quilt, start dinner and you can finish the binding and so on.

Amen Sister! Laundry gets done on quilt breaks. DH does the grocery shopping - thinks I get too much we don't need when I go. He also starts or sometimes makes dinner. Cleaning is only done when absolutely necessary.

AMEN!!!!! and God did not intend for us to spend all our time cleaning house.........I supposed he wanted us to do a little, but not ALL the time. :)

There was a task I was dreading that I had put off for a long time. I posted a picture of my latest completed quilt on this board and told myself I could not check for any responses until the dreaded task was done. It was a good bribe for me, I got the task done in record time and then rewarded myself by reading the board.
