Mine are actually going to Haiti, but same concept.http://freshlypicked.blogspot.com/20...i-updated.html

I spent the morning embroidering pockets with butterflies. So when I go to make the dresses it is Bing bang boom!!

what a wonderful idea! I've been making pillowcases for the 1 million pillowcase challenge , never thought of turning them into little dresses! My daughter volunteered for 7 weeks in a South African AIDS orphanage and we were sending stuff for those babies, they love shoes and socks too. Keep up the good work, together we can all make a difference in the lives of those children.

Love your pillowcases. I made them for our Children's Hospital in 2010. I decide to do something a little different this year.

That is absolutely darling. This is a project I will take on this year. I have yards of fabric to use and an idle embroidery machine. Thank you so much for sharing, I would never have seen it otherwise.
Please share more pics and/or start a thread. I'm not sure how to do that.
