I am so sorry. It is a very hard decision to make. I had to put down my Hobo Kitty last year. But I still have him with me in the sewing room. I just changed my avatar to show him.He showed up at the house in 04 and decided that is where he wanted to stay.

it's always hard to have to make the decision to put a much loved pet down. But I truly believe that God has a special place for loved pets in heaven...

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how bad your heart is hurting right now. I just lost my 18 yr old granddog 2 weeks ago and now my 12 yr old rat terrier is starting to have problems walking. I am so afraid her time is coming to. Sending you a great big hug.

I am so sorry. I know how you feel, I had to do that in November to my baby. She was almost 20 years old. I am so sorry but we can only have them so long then God has other plans. We can try to comfort each other and go on.

My deepest sympathies, it is not an easy thing. I had to put my daisy down a few years ago. she was 16, and one day just totally lost the use of her back end. We tried to help her, she had pain meds but it wasn't going to get better. So we called a large animal vet and he came to the house, it was so much better than having to drive into the vet's distraught. We have a memorial garden for her, filled with every kind of daisy you can imagine!

I'm so sorry for your loss. They are blessed in that we can spare them a painful death.

I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. It's never easy to let them go but we know when they no longer want to be on this plane and want to go to the Bridge to be healthy and young again.

Having just lost two of my dogs, I can relate to your pain.
