There's still a Ben Franklin in Mocksville, NC for anyone close to the Winston-Salem or Statesville area.

There's one in Delavan,WI. It had been closed for a few years, but re-opened in a different location. Still about 20 miles from where I live.

The one that was around here closed probably 30 plus years ago. And I thought we were the only place that had one. lol

We still have our Ben Franklin. I'm glad because the next closest quilt shop is an hour away. Guess I better go buy more fabric so they stay open :)!

I'm so sorry to hear your Ben Franklins are or have closed. There is one nearby and I love, love, love that store. The fabric is only good stuff at a fairly decent price and they have sales every month. And they invite you back by having the candles and all that pretty stoneware right in the front!!

We lost ours, too, several years ago, and I really miss them. I think they have the same parent company as Michaels, but our Michaels doesn't have any fabric. It has a huge scrapbooking section (almost half the store), but small in all the other areas.

I didn't know there were still any of those stores in business. The closest one to us was 9 miles away and it closed some 10-15 years ago too. Lots of tears over that closing!
