Just sent 28 of these little "beds" to local Cat Rescue Group. they loved them!
What a lovely thing to do, I bet they were so grateful.

I sometimes send quilts to our local Pets re-homing centre as I sometimes get quilts donated to Project Linus but are completely unsuited for kiddiewinks but the fur-babies love them. I use and recycle everything I can

Hmmm. Wonder how long it will take to fill a full bed size "pillowcase" for my puppy???

This is a very neat idea. I know our 2 boys would like a little more stuffing in their pillows they have but I couldn't think of what to use. This will work out great. Now I won't be throwing all those scraps in the trash.Never had ause for the very small scraps before. Thanks alot.

What a brilliant idea, never thought of that and there's me been throwing the odds and ends away, but no more,
Thanks for that.

Probably not as much as you think. I filled my first two "beds" out of the trash. Now I keep a case beside the trash can and use it instead.

I just wanted to send out a big "thank you" to all of you who have sent beds to shelters for the fur-babies. It's means a great deal to us volunteers since we get pretty attached to those we help. Those cages can get pretty hard and it's nice to send them something that has their smell on it when they go to their forever homes.

Many blessings,

I had lunch with a friend today and she knows a local Cats Home that would love loads of them so I will get all my quilting pals at it, I know they will only too pleased to participate.

The beauty of these beds are they are fully washable, especially as I will supply them with an extra pillow case cover.
