We have been closed Tuesday, today and I'll bet tomorrow also.
Here in the fort Wood. area we have had 3 days off before this snow and had only made up one day. I think Spring Break is a dream. Why the school broad even put it in the calendar, I do not know. I guess just to tease the school employees :-D

Our school just south of St. Louis has been closed since Monday. We'll be lucky if we get back at all this week.

Got the call at 4:30 that we will not have school. Still wondering about Friday. The highway (28) is clear and the county plows came thur too, but the side road I'm sure are slick. Sorry to say, but some children come to school dressed for fashion and not for warmth. That is a concern here that students will be standing out for the bus with no winter coats and maybe in flip-flops. Last week I saw a young high school girl in flip-flops and there was a little snow on the ground too. Asked her "where are your shoes ?" "They aren't cool" was the answer. Bet her toes would be "cool" tonight. Enough of my ranting on teenagers & fashion .
