I hope I am posting this in the right place. These are the January 2011 Swap gifts that Karla Reinhart and I made for each other. Ignore the background on the table runner, it is the post office. I forgot to photograph it before I left the house. Mailman threatened to keep it. lol!

Her wall hanging is just beautiful! For her table runner, she said she wanted 'burgundy and mustard'. She did not say what type of mustard, so I found a tonal that had all the 'mustard' colors in it!

You can't see the beautiful job she did on the quilting.

Colors are much brighter, but you know cell phone cameras...

Both of those look great! I wouldn't have thought to use burgundy and mustard together...but then I don't think of mustard...am a ketchup person myself. LOL.

Yes this is the right place to post them and thank you so much for doing so.

This SWAP has been so much fun. I am going to decline to participate in Feb. I have a king size quilt in the works for my neighbor, to be done by April. I HAVE to get this project done and out the door so I can return to some semblance of sanity!

You'll be missed. Hopefully we will continue to get the ok to do it and you can rejoin us another month.

Hi Alisa!

Yours is heading out tomorrow too. I wanted to put a label on it before I sent it out. So anxious for you to see it...even with its imperfections! Can't wait to get the one you made for me too! Have a happy Friday everyone!

I have mailed mine to McQuilter. I purposely didn't take pix so she could if she liked them

I have already got the fabrics for theFeb swap. Haveing only one car is a lot of getting used to -- What with bridge and quilt groups we seem to always be short of transport.

In the future it will be one in WA and one in ME so I'd better get used to it. -- Maybe an old junker for a second car in Maine where we are 3 miles from anything -- LOL At least in WA therre are Taxis around all the time.

Mim

I love the colors I got

oh shoot! I knew I forgot something! I didn't get a label on yours! We need to put labels on everything we make! Must be all this snow has blurred my mind, LOL! I'll do better the next time. I've been online looking for that just right material for the mug rug! I'm also looking for a nice easy baby quit to make for my new granddaughter! They moved her due date to May 16th instead of May 27th. I'm getting so excited! Well, I must get to bed I'm working two jobs tomorrow :( 8 am to 8pm! I hate 12 hour days. one more week and it is just one job again!
