If I send anything home w/DIL in a 2gal she saves it for something she might need. I love 'em!

Besides using the 2 gal bags for quilt projects, I use them when packing for travel. I put all my undies in one, swim stuff in another, jammies, slippers and robe in another, etc. It makes unpacking really easy. Just put the bags in hotel drawers and everything is in it's place. No more rummaging thu my suitcase to find something. I keep them in my suitcase and reuse again and again. They are also big enough for storing loaves of bread.

I buy them at Wal-Mart. Sometimes if I feel like just cutting then I pick a pattern & cut out the parts & store everything in the 2 gal. bags so if for some reason I need something to do it is all ready. Usually I have plenty to do but I do this anyway.

The ones I've found have always been Hefty's, usually at Target and WalMart. I've been using them for years for quilting and various other craft projects; bread and food dishes, and freezing; packing and storing clothes, special sweaters;... the list goes on. They are great.

Safeway has the Hefty 2.5 gal bags also..I think there are 12 per box. I use them to ship my QuiltsForKids quilts back.
(Put the quilt in, zip it almost closed and roll all the air out, zip it closed. Instand Hefty "space bag".

I love them also and freeze 2 loafs of bread or bread from breadmaker. All kind of things.

They are great for Highway Patrol quilts if you make these and donate them. That way when the officers put them in the trunk of their cars they don't get dirty. They can take them out and use when needed.

I saw these at Winco - I had to take a double take!

I buy the 2.5 gal. Hefty brand at Walmart. Will have to look at the Dollar Tree...some things could use just a little bit smaller bag.
