Hi, the correct term is Designers cloth. Ha Ha. Anyway around here even these tops around here sell for over a Hundred dollars. Peewee

I made 3 of them at Christmas time, added borders and quilted them and all my girls loved them! I read somewhere that the "cheater" fabric came about around the 1900's. To help out the housewives sewing. They could get a quilt down in alot less time. Thats how it was marketed anyways. I've never used it before but it was great and quick. (Sometimes I'm a live by the seat kind of gal!! LOL)

I buy and sell on ebay...in fact have the sunbonnet sue you are showing and bought it on ebay 2yds for 9.99...I can honestly tell you you won't sell either fabric at that price unless it's 5+ yds...How many yrds are each?
