This sounds like fun...anything to use up scraps! And have a pretty quilt, too. I will use 5" charms I've cut myself & some scraps I have that will make 3 1/2" pinwheels & somehow mix them up in the quilt. I'll figure it out when I come to it ;)

I still haven't found the "elephant pinwheel" or is it the same thing?

I made a purple & white pinwheel this fall, using the square on top of another. If you have stretching problems sewing the sections together, because they are on the bias, using your walking foot. It's so fast you won't believe how quickly you can make them.
