I got one of those, my Grandma's. However her's is all messed up. She really used the crap out of it, the decals are mostly gone and it's a mess, but I can't part with it. I did chuck the cabinet though cause she repainted it and cut the legs down a little (she was really really short).

Cathy big congrats!!! she sure is pretty. A few months back a member on this board posted the machine I have been wanting, she found it at a thrift store, even posted pics and offered to help me get it.....I am still kicking myself for not getting it. So glad you jumped on your new machine.

If you want a really nice machine to take to sewing class I think the Singer 301's are wonderful. They are cheaper than the Featherweights and I love the way they sew.
