I cannot imagine being able to do those curves yet, and I've made a few quilts already. And this is only your second. You are very brave and did a wonderful job!!!

You do not have to stitch the curves, I have explained to a few ladies.

Cut 1st Fabric 7 inches square.

Cut a circle in 2 nd fabric approx 4 1/2 inches.

Place circle over square centre to centre, machine stitch or hand sew then cut square into four.

I make a cardboard template around 4 inches then sew running stitches about 1/4 inch fro the edge, place cardboard in the centre of circle pull up stiches so as it curves over template then press, carefully remove template.
