Didn't care for the music but I thought the people off stage with the lighted costumes was pretty cool.

The last actual halftime show I watched was the year of the wardrobe malfunction with Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake. I was sitting in front of a big screen TV while almost everyone was outside on a cigarette break and I saw it happen. Everyone told me I was nuts until the story broke all over the news thereafter and the next day. I know what I saw, LOL. When I was younger I always looked forward to the shows, but not so much anymore and I don't care for football to begin with. As for the shows, they pretty well suck now, and even though I'm young and a lot of the performers are "my generation" of music - a lot of it just doesn't appeal to me. I've never really been a fan of Black Eyed Peas, so I chose to cook dinner instead while it was on.

Explosive blessings, abundance and inspiration to you all!

Not in my book! I'm still trying to figure out what happened to half time shows as I always knew them -- with marching bands, etc. Boy, I'm getting old!

And what about that national anthem??? There ought to be a law!!

Yes, I agree! Marching bands are so spirited! No angst, no grinding, no hair swinging, no sunglasses, no skin. I know I'm a drag. However, there was a song one of the Black Eyed Peas belted out, the female, that took me back to the '70s and I was enjoying it.
The lights the dancers had on created a beautiful sight, though.
But, here's to marching bands!
