Isn't it sad that they are closing all the fabric departments. I was a department manager over fabrics for 12 years. The higher ups at the home office do not realize what a big mistake they have made. I had customers tell me they would not shop there again and they don't. The main problem with that department was staffing in my case. Management did not care if it was staffed and lots of customers didn't get service. Alot of mills had to shut down because Walmart was their main source of income so more people lost their jobs. That is sad. We don't have any good fabric stores around here except for one great quilt shop. I keep hopinf for a big fabric chain to open up close.
