Just a suggestion, do a small red border, then the flower print.

that is going to be gorgeous, I would do a border in the floral print and bind in the darker one, can't wait to see the finihed project.

I think a dark border will make it stand out more. I did a Christmas tube quilt and decided to SID. It turned out great and the borders were free motion quilted. I think with the bias it is better to SID. It follows well without having to turn too often. I think its beautiful. I love the colors. Happy quilting!

I would do a thin dark red inner border and then a thicker flowered outer border with meandering.
