They are very pretty, by the way.
Look on YouTube under Missouri Star Quilt and type in tube quilting. You will find a tutorial on tube quilting.

This is going to be beautiful!!!!...whatever you do. I don't think it needs a border unless to get it the size you want. I think the more solid red/pink color would make a great binding.

I would do a narrow framing border in the deep red and then put the flower border. It really is a pretty and I bet the quilt will be wonderful. Be sure and share pictures.

I would pull a color from the quilt other than red or floral for a good size binding and then a solid red thinner binding.
