I have EQ6, and although I don't use it a lot, I do like how it works when I do use it.

I really appreciate all the information all of you have been giving me.

With the positive reports on EQ and the really good sale of EQ7 at Quilt in a Day Peducah at $132.97, I think I will order that while it is still on sale.

I have till the 11th to make a decision. Maybe I will check the website like has been suggested to get additional information.

And yes, since I have 'found' this Board, I have been very
"successful" in spending my time ever so wisely learning, swapping, etc, etc, etc.....................

I have used EQ since its inception. I have upgraded to EQ7 and find it easy to use. The program has video tutorials and also the books that comes with all of the versions are concise and easy to read.
It is a wonderful tool to design your own quilts and blocks.
I also have Kaleidoscope Kreator . Takes a photo or design and creates wonderful patterns. So much fun. It is $39.95 and can be ordered from their website. Google name for accurate website.
Happy quilting

I've been successful with the EQ series. There is a learning curve, but after that it is pretty easy to navigate.

I use EQ7 and I love it. You can use the pre-loaded quilt blocks, quilt layouts, and fabric or design your own.

The EQ website is good. You can find inspiration and lots of support.

EQ--when I first got it I was completely confused, then took an online class at Quilt University and finally figured it out. Had no one locally to ask for help so figured it was the way to go.

I was wondering if it is harder to use EQ7 on a Mac computer?
