Hi, Y'all! I'm from Naples, Florida. While I have done a bit of sewing off and on over the years, it was never one of my favorite things to do. And I never, ever would have seen myself quilting, until the day last summer when my friend took me into a quilt shop. OH, MY!

I've been teaching myself (thank goodness for the Internet). So far I've made two rag quilts, some small strip quilts and pillow covers. I'm working up the nerve to start some more ambitious projects, and have several stacks of fabric ready to go! I'm looking forward to learning from all of you and seeing your beautiful projects.

Welcome from Ohio, I'm sure it's much warmer in Florida than it is here. Have fun with your quilting. There are some amazing quilts shown on here made by people who are so helpful and supportive.
