Gorgeous! It doesn't look fast and easy. And I think the light band on each point sets the star off nicely and gives it movement.

Wow! It's fantastic, I like the spinning effect! I knew something was up because I started getting emails asking where to get the pattern. It is really fun to see my pattern being used in so many places. I don't know if it's against the rules to post the order info here so if you want to know just email me at [email protected] and I'll send the info. Thanks for making my quilt and posting it here, I feel like a quilt celebrity!

Becky

P.S. I love to do trunk shows at guilds too! ;-)

Yes, I do like it! And I'm so glad you used scraps. That's how I discovered this process. I had bought 3 bags of batik scraps for 50 cents each at a quilting garage sale. It turned out that they were all full of strips that were different sizes. I had been wanting to make a Lone Star and wondered...what if I used the different sizes anyway. With encouragement from a friend I gave it a try...and then made it into this pattern! That quilt is the one on the first page of my website.

It looks like you used the leftovers for the border, right? I've been wanting to do that, just haven't had time yet. Great job!!!
