    Actually they are $139.
And no one could read all the free books because there are new free books coming out almost daily in addition to the free books available through project Gutenberg which includes all the books written before somthing like 1945. Go to amazon and go to kindle books, arrange in order of price, the list will go on for days. Not all the free books are good, but I have found some suprising winners in there.

Wouldn't have any other brand. Love it. Read more now than I ever did before. Very user friendly.

I got one for Xmas and I love, love it. It is every bit as good as they say. It is so easy to read. I just ordered a few of the accessories (light, case, earphones, car charger etc. I like being able to look up words and to download a book anytime. Kindle was the original and they have really improved on it. I am going on a month long vacation, so I won't have to load my suitcase with heavy books.

I LOVE books...the smell, the feel, the adventure....BUT having a Kindle doesn't mean you stop reading books. People say "but I love books" to me all the time, and I say to them, just because you buy a CD doesn't mean you can't enjoy concerts, and just because you watch TV doesn't mean you can't go to a play or to the movies. It's in addition to books, not in place of books. I can have literally thousands of books in my Kindle, so when I travel I don't have to have half a suitcase full of books! I can slip it in my purse and read anywhere. I love my Kindle!!!!

I think my Kindle holds 1200+ books so, no, it doesn't really ever fill up. You can remove books to make more room and then get them back later if you wish. Kindle is the one with the anti-glare screen, and it also has multiple size fonts (not sure if Nook has this feature). I am more than happy with my Kindle.
