I like 'em all! probably why I have so many UFO's, PIG's, whatever you want to call them. When I get sick of browns, I pull out the bright batiks. When I get sick of the batiks, I pull out a baby quilt. When I get sick of that I pull out a wall hanging... and so on and so forth!

I love it all but have been leaning toward more contemporary designs.I have seen so many beautiful quilts on this board and never thought of using batiks but now do I think differently and I am 58 years young you would think I would like the more traditional quilts.

I like to quilt, traditional, comtemporary, pieced, apliqued, or wholecloth it doesn't matter. Whatever strikes my fancy at the time I start a new project.

I love Asian fabrics and themes. I like to combine them with embroidered ( machine) blocks. I also have to admit that I'm not crazy about putting together tiny little pieces of fabric. Many of the Asian fabrics have larger designs, so they lend themselves to larger blocks....Yay!

I do love to hand quilt and usually have one with when we fly anywhere. Also my husband is a sports fanatic so I like to sit and hand quilt at night when I game is on. :-D

I love traditional...that said I enjoy each and every type of quilting also. Depends on what I'm in the mood to do. There are so many options out there each has its charm and place.

I love to look @ them but love bright fabrics and they don't always work with what I think of as "traditional" :-D

There is nothing more relaxing and enjoyable for me then to sit down in a comfy chair whilst watching a DVD on comp and quilting away by hand,,believe me it is so therapeutic and has saved my sanity at times in life

I like the contemporary as well - and again - it is how I have decorated my home. I have done some traditional for friends

I like both traditional and contemporary...and I really like melding the two together!
