Me, too. Exactly. I'm definitely going to have something in time for the deadline, but maybe just barely before that. Trying something old fashioned but new to me. Progress is veeerrrry gradual. Not my usual throw-something-together-all-on-the-machine. But I saw what KWhite (my swap partner) did last month. Yikes - Fantastic!!! I was hoping that entering the swap would raise the bar for me a bit, but... seriously!

I received mine from Chele yesterday. Thanks SO much! I will post pictures as soon as I can.

(My daughter wanted it SO bad. I told her if she kept her room clean for a month, I would hang it up in her room over her bed. I think the doll quilt will be hanging in my sewing room for years... because she cannot keep it clean for more than a day or two. She is six.)

I have talked with mother nature, and she will let the mail truck taking the DQ "Springtime butterfly garden" east bound to N.C. a clear path and no snow for a few days. BUT she said all bets are off after that. So it went out with the morning pick up on Sat.
I had to mail it out as soon as it was done or it was going to be confiscated by all who seen it. (Not meant to bragggg)But Susan my DW shows my work to her co-workers and I know one day a DQ won't make it back out of the shop.

I thought this was going to be a short post... Oh well. We don't pay by the word, so "TYPE ON"

Ray..
