This is so very sad, she is the age of my grandson, I would die a thousand deaths before I would let something like this happen to my kids or grandkids. These parents better have a good excuse, oh wait there is NO excuse for this. Poor baby, it makes me sad to know that she has no idea what is happening to her.

we all have a path to follow. yours was to watch over the children. God doesn't always make the directions transparent, but you were at the spot you were meant to be.

It's been said several times all ready, but you were meant to find this little girl. God is using you to help children, and it's a mission to be thankful for. You may literally have saved several lives!

I can imagine so many ways this could have happened... but if she was dressed well and looked healthy and well-cared-for, I'm not ready to condemn anybody yet. I look back at my own children's escapades (including a tot who let himself out a sliding door, and closed it behind him so I didn't realize he had escaped until my neighbor called... you can bet there was a lock on that door by nightfall!)

If you find out the particulars, we'd all love to hear them!! And rather than be upset, thank God for using you in this marvelous way. You're obviously a very special person.

Last night I called the sheriff's office to see if they had located her parents and they told me not one person had called any police agency in the county to report a missing child! How awful is that? We figured she was 12-18 months old and wasn't talking yet. What is wrong with this....was she just dumped? No one in the area had ever seen her before but she was clean and warmly dressed. Makes me sick to just think about that poor little girl.

It would seem you we meant to be a guardian angel for the lost and scared children rather than a mother. You are needed to be in strange places and times for these lost children. You truly have a comforting gift these children need at such a frightening time.

what a guardian angel you are...such a shame that this world is so full of people who haven't grasp the concept that its a parent responsibility to watch over and protect their children at ALL times...thank you for doing what you did

Will you please let this board know if they are able to locate where and who she belongs to? This kind of thing is always a mystery to me. How and why did it happen will make me wonder.
