both. mostly design. so far I have done the stitch in teh ditch all the way around the 4 squares.
I did try to stitch around the fruit in my focus square and lets just say its alot harder than it looks. i ripped it out and did the sid.

Hp! Great JOB!!! here is a link that may help you out.. http://www.victorianaquiltdesigns.ne...gYourQuilt.htm I posted this earlier... for the process of putting the quilt together. Now for design, for a beginner, try meandering? or maybe an all over design kind of thing. I hope that helps.

I finally finished my quilt. After putting all the rows together I decided to do a quilt as you go since it was the queen size. I outline quilted mine, rearranged the blocks so all the focus squares would be on top, and added the contrast between the blocks. Thanks for the mystery. I enjoyed it ( except all the picking out I did! )
