Definitely worth the money and get the largest one you can because you'll be moving the fabric less with the larger one.

I have 2 log cabin quilt kits to make for my daughters. All the fabrics are fat quarters. I dread cutting all of those strips. I too do not always cut straight. Will the slotted rulers help with this?
Thanks
Linda

My eyes do the same thing as yours.....so.....I have the slotted rulers and love them. When I am cutting a lot of strips, I put a small piece of blue painters tape at each of the slots I will be using.......helps me a lot....

Love June Taylor's slotted rulers for cutting strips. I have her rulers in two sizes.

I have this slotted ruler (12" x 12"). It is like a dream come true, cuts the cutting (no pun intended) time in half and takes all of the effort out of getting perfectly straight cuts of fabric. My sons gave me one for Christmas along with other quilting items and I still thank them all the time for that slotted ruler. It's the best!!!

I also forgot to mention that the 18" ruler is not sold in the stores only on line, sorry.
