Thanks everyone for your kind words! The 2nd quilt is a pattern from the November Quilter magazine, called Swirling Acorns.

The 1st one is a free pattern and here is the link:

http://www.debbiemumm.com/Projects/Quilting/2006/11/

I'm so hooked to quilting, and don't know how to quit, so I'm sure there will be others coming.

I absolutely love this forum, and when I get quilter's block, I seem to always find ideas here!!

Deb, BOTH of your tops are just gorgeous!! I am so glad you posted pics. I need a little inspiration to get me started this year--I am feeling overwhelmed with so many projects before me. Thanks for sharing and keep 'em coming!!!

Nice job. I have tops done but not together and I know who is to receive them. I just keep working on something new and not finish the others.

Deb, they are both beautiful. I really like the sashing blocks (is that the right term?) in the second one. They look like little flowers. Someone will be lucky and proud to get them.

they're beautiful, look at it like this, if you need a gift in a pinch or a blanket in a pinch you've got the hard part done.

Gorgeous both!

Everyone has started quilts and not known where they would end up at.
I have been working on and off on a quilt for six months. Yesterday  it came to me to take it this year to a family reunion. Use it for a door prize. The top is complete. It will not take long to quilt as there is a reason to finish it and get rid of another UFO.
